Leonardo da Vinci was not just an ARTIST or PAINTER, he liked also inventing things. He was born in Italy and he made awesome work. His work always got people impressed and made humans feel ease. The most well –known work from Leonardo da Vinci is MONA LISA as you well know.
It was painted sometime between1503 and 1506 when Leonardo da Vinci was living in Florence, Italy and, it now hangs in the Louvre in Paris, where it remains an object of pilgrimage in the 21st century. The painting was to be a portrait of Giocondo’s wife, Lisa del Giocondo, which the couple intended to hang in their new home to celebrate the birth of their new son, Andrea.
When I searched in Wikipedia about Mona Lisa it said the best known, the most visited, the most written about and the most parodied work of art in the world and actually after reading about The Mona Lisa, I found it more interesting than I thought.
